Sharing is caring!

We are so proud that our efforts to foster an inclusive approach to sustainability have been acknowledged by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on its one planet vision for a responsible recovery of the tourism sector webpage.

The One Planet Vision calls for a responsible recovery of the tourism sector from the COVID-19 crisis, which is founded on sustainability. The Vision strives to enhance the resilience of tourism, balancing the needs of people, planet, and prosperity.

The webpage is a repository that aims to inspire further action from governments and the private sector by highlighting tools and initiatives from stakeholders which are leading by example.

Recently, ASSET-H&C has made its Eco-Guide accessible to a wider audience by translating it to Burmese, Khmer, Thai, and Vietnamese. The publication has been showcased in the Transforming Vision Into Action – Guidelines and Tools section of The One Planet Vision webpage through the articleEco-Guide for Hospitality Businesses and Schools in Mekong Region.

The Eco-Guide translations are available for free download on https://assethc.org/publication/
