Main students’ selection criteria

For the 24-month training programmes: Candidates must be at-risk and/ or disadvantaged youth from across Vietnam aged 16-22.

For the 6-month intensive training programme: candidates must be in high-risk environments and/ or disadvantaged women; single mothers in need of a livelihood, rural & minority women from across Vietnam, aged 18-25.

All recruits are means-tested on household income, basic literacy, and numeracy

Training programmes & content

1. Certificate III in Hospitality (Front of house)

2. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

3. Certificate in Hospitality (Specializing in Front of House)

4. Certificate in Asian Cookery or Bakery

Each program includes a specific theory and practice. All programmes include: English language, life skills, computer literacy, and career orientation

DURATION OF TRAINING

Prog. 1 & 2: 24 months, including a 6-month internship

Prog. 3 & 4: 6 months, including a 2-month internship.

CERTIFICATE AWARDED UPON COMPLETION

Prog. 1 & 2: Certificate delivered by the school and accredited by the Box Hill Institute (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia).

Prog. 3 & 4: Certificate delivered by KOTO.
