Don Bosco Hotel School joins ASSET-H&C

ASSET-H&C is proud to welcome a new member in the network – Don Bosco Hotel School.

The school is located in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), where it operates an hotel and a restaurant. It offers 2-year training programmes in Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Food Production to youth in precarious situation or coming from low income families.

The training programmes follow the ASEAN curriculum and include theoretical and practical sessions, life skills and English.

100 students are admitted every year and 1800 have graduated from the school since its creation in 2007.

After a first introduction during ASSET-H&C annual seminar, all members look forward to exchanging further with Don Bosco Hotel School.

On July 23rd, 2026, 45 participants from across Southeast Asia gathered at the Eco-Campus of École d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme (EHT) Paul Dubrule in Siem Reap, Cambodia, for ASSET-H&C's annual public conference, themed "Building Green Skills for Hospitality's Future: From Classroom to Check-in." The morning was built around one question: how do vocational schools and the hospitality industry close the sustainability skills gap together?

Building a strong, lifelong relationship with graduates is essential for vocational schools, yet maintaining that connection poses unique challenges. On May 29, 2025, school staff, trainers, social workers, and directors across the ASSET-H&C network gathered online for GetTogether #13—an inspiring knowledge exchange focused on the art of alumni engagement from KOTO (Know One, Teach One).
