Sharing is caring!

Founded in 2016, the Sanon Training Restaurant is a not for profit social enterprise organization located in Bagan, Myanmar, which offers disadvantaged students “a practical, safe, creative, energetic and fun learning environment”. Its core strategic goal is to allow all students gain skills of an ASEAN standard and obtain employment in the hospitality and tourism industry upon completing their training.

The school’s 12-month training program consists of two vocational subject areas, “Front of House & Beverage Services” and “Kitchen, OHS & Food Safety”. During the first three months of their training, each student learns the basics of both subject areas. After their initial three months, each student chooses one of the subject areas to specialize and undertake advanced training.

The organization welcomes 20 trainees every year, assists them in finding employment and monitors them for a further two years.

All ASSET-H&C members are pleased to welcome Sanon Training Restaurant on board and look forward to working closely with them to build synergies across the network.
