Main students’ selection criteria

Candidates must be between 17 – 25 years old and show motivation, willingness, and discipline. The students come from provinces, monasteries, and orphanages in Myanmar. The income and property of parents (and/or family) are considered. The English language is not a prerequisite.

Training programmes & content

Shwe Sa Bwe provides Service & Culinary training program: Cooking training, Service training, and Bakery training. The students follow a curriculum for either cooking or service. English classes are offered during training.

The training restaurant doors are open for bistro-style lunches & gastronomic dinners. Sourced from local ingredients to offer the freshest, and seasonal availabilities in Myanmar, the tasting menu changes every month. The restaurant also offers a home-made selection of pastries and cakes. Every aspect of your dining experience is performed by the students, under the close supervision of experienced teachers and seniors.
